PANEER RUMANI (Romantic cottage cheese):

For, Paneer is one such wonderful option. There are numerous benefits to eating paneer. Paneer is to vegetarians what chicken is to non-vegetarians.
The softer the paneer, the more it melts in your mouth. And what you experience is pure bliss!
In this blog I'm sharing a fusion recipe made with paneer with you, that is known as Paneer Rumani
Which is just a pan-seared cottage cheese with some makhni & brown onion gravy. As usual, after reading the blog do review my dish plating in the comments or just donate some claps.
RECIPE
Serving : 4pax ; Time : 35–40 min ; cooking temperature : medium-high
Ingredients required:
1. Marination
Paneer — 240gm
Chilli flakes — 5gm
Olive oil — 10ml
Lemon juice — 2no.
Salt & pepper — to taste
2. Gravy
Refind oil — 20ml
Brown onion paste — 160gm
Tomato puree — 240gm
Ginger garlic paste — 20gm
Degi Mirch powder — 10gm
Green cardamom powder — 5gm
Honey -10gm
Salt — to taste
Garam masala poweder 4gm
Fresh cream — 15gm
Unsalted butter — 15gm
Kewra water — few drops
3. Garnish
Fresh coriander sprigs
Bell pepper julienne
Rogan
Fresh cream
Method:
STEPS:
Cut the paneer into large rectangular dices for about 2 inches on each side.
Make an emulsion of olive oil & lemon juice in a bowl. Add the rest of the marination ingredients along with it. Put the paneer in marination for about 10–15 min & then, either grill it or pan sear it in a nonstick pan till it is blondy. Take it aside in a blotting paper.
Heat the oil to medium flame, add ginger garlic paste. Cook it till golden add degi mirch along with the tomato puree. Add brown onion paste along with the rest of the seasoning & cook it till the gravy loses the oil from the side.
Add honey & cardamom powder, along with the paneer dices. Cook it for a while then add cream & butter on the low flame. top it with some kewra essence.
Serve it in a deep dish bowl & garnish with the following ingredients as mentioned. Serve hot.
Serving tip:
Serve it along with tandoori naan/roti/laccha paratha.
Accompany it with green salad & mint chutney.
